American Campus Communities Presents Third Annual Hi, How Are You Day In-Person Concert and Global Live Stream to Kick Off Mental Health Awareness Month
American Campus Communities (ACC) is excited to team up with The Hi, How Are You Project (HHAYP) to present the Hi How Are You Day fundraising concert and global live-stream on May 4, 2022 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas.
For the past four years, American Campus Communities has partnered with the non-profit to help spark meaningful conversations about mental wellness for ACC residents by creating a framework that fosters a culture of open dialogue in ACC communities across the nation.
“We are proud partner of the Hi How Are You Project and sponsor this year’s Hi How Are You Day concert to bring needed awareness to mental health, encourage open dialogue and raise the importance of mental well-being for our resident communities, employees and the universities we serve,” said Bill Bayless, co-founder and CEO of American Campus Communities.
The May 4 concert also kicks off the organization’s Mental Health Awareness Month initiatives, including the return of the Hi, How Are You Pledge, where all are invited to pledge to check on others by simply asking, “Hi, How Are You?”
To further encourage community and conversations around mental health with college students, American Campus Communities will host live-stream watch events at its communities on and near campuses across the country. The HHAY Day 2022 Concert will be live-streamed globally on Qello Concerts by Stingray, giving fans around the world the opportunity to participate in the festivities.
In-person attendees will be able to check out the latest Vans/No-Comply + Daniel Johnston shoe collab released earlier in the year. Headlining performances include:
