January 22nd marks the birthday of the late artist and musician Daniel Johnston. Daniel is known around the world not only for his unique talents in music and illustration, but also for his openness with his mental health journey. Daniel’s story has inspired open conversation about mental wellness around the world – let’s celebrate his legacy together!
2020 has been a year of change, to say the least. In order to be as safe and smart as possible in light of Covid-19, instead of the Hi, How Are You Project’s annual concert, Hi, How Are You Day will take the form of a HAPPY HABIT-A-THON; a largely virtual and social media driven multi-day event on and around Hi, How Are You Day (January 22nd). By reinforcing the effectiveness and ease of the original Happy Habits through a set of healthy, fun, and engaging activities, the Hi, How Are You Project is dedicated to furthering its mission to reduce the stigma around mental health, encourage conversation, and connect communities around the world.

On January 22nd, we'll hold a drawing of all entrants – winners will receive a package of all kinds of Hi, How Are You giveaways, and their art and music will be featured on the Hi, How Are You website, Youtube and social platforms!
